Education Spotlights
Francis Marion University
Drs. Jane & Michael Madden and Douglas Gray, Associate Professor of Art/Ceramics integrate technology in to the classroom with eZediaMX.
"Thanks eZedia... we have the best interactive CD-ROM ever!
Several of the faculty and staff at Francis Marion University attended
training in the eZedia software. It quickly became clear that we could
make an affordable multimedia presentation that would accurately reflect
the FMU story and could easily and inexpensively be distributed to
prospective students. (A great need of ours!)
The eZedia software made what first sounded like an impossible task not
only possible, but affordable. Better than that, our product was
completely tailored to our needs because we produced it with our ideas.
Since we were not limited by the number of pages due to cost, we were
able to include much more information. The entire look and feel of the
project was exactly as we imagined. The support that the eZedia
professionals offered was exceptional. We now have the experience to
update and improve our interactive CD-ROM on a yearly basis... thanks to eZedia!"

"Our experience using eZediaMX in class has shown us that it provides a
flexible and creative environment in which students can easily integrate a
variety of technologies to communicate their ideas. Its ease of use means
that they can spend their time on content rather than on the technology."

"I haven't been this excited about a software package in quite some time.
eZediaMX is an impressive multimedia, interactive, authoring tool. Since it
can handle layers of digital media at the same time and on the same screen,
it puts PowerPoint presentations to shame. As a Ceramics Professor, with no
formal training in computers, I've been able to put together digital
portfolios of my work and interactive technical demonstrations for my
students, all in an afternoon. With eZediaMX I can include step-by-step
verbal descriptions and visual demonstrations, stills and video clips from
multiple perspectives, music and VR technology. It is the next best thing to
being in the classroom."
