"This year I wanted my art students to prepare an electronic portfolio to document their development as artists that could be included in their college applications for next year. However, the students were not enthusiastic about creating their portfolios using PowerPoint on the old PCs at the computer workstation. When I introduced eZediaMX, they began to fight over the two iMacs loaded with eZediaMX and quickly began working on their projects. For the past year, they have created works of art using traditional art media - painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, etc., and documenting their work through text and visuals in an art research journal required by the IB Art curriculum. Their only experience in the digital world was photographing their art works with digital cameras and printing the images for their Portfolio Project Journal Entries. Because of eZediaMX's user-friendly format and amazing features, the students have easily adapted to the digital realm and I can't get them off the computers. They have exceeded my original "art portfolio" requirement and their Electronic Portfolios have become works of art in themselves. The portfolios serve not only to document their artwork, but also include their personal interests and high school achievements presented in a visually exciting, multimedia presentation that will one day become a cherished, electronic memory. When the portfolios are previewed by colleges and universities, these students will be on the top of everyone's list for admission!"
