How eZedia Meets the Requirements

Provide opportunities for academic enrichment for students who attend low-performing schools.
eZedia offers cross-curriculum digital learning solutions that foster productive and engaging learning. eZedia's products can be tailored to meet an individual student's needs, learning styles, and abilities. Digital learning equalizes opportunities for all students regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, geographic location, and economic status; and prepares them with the necessary 21st Century skills.

Offer students a broad array of additional services, programs, and activities such as technology education programs that are designed to reinforce and complement the regular academic program.
eZedia's Partners in Learning offers complete cross-curriculum solutions that complement numerous academic programs from Language Arts to Science to Social Studies. Incorporating digital media into the curriculum creates lessons that are collaborative, creative, and engaging - ultimately improving the student's learning outcome.

Offer families of students served by community learning centers opportunities for literacy and related educational development.
The US Department of Labor states, "Of the 54 jobs expected to experience the most significant growth between now and 2005, only eight do not require technology fluency". The digital age dictates that all must have a basic technology skill set in order to take advantage of today's and future opportunities. eZedia's digital media products utilize easy-to-use drag-and-drop environments with sophisticated features that encourage and develop critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. It is this unique combination that maximizes the learning experience through minimizing complex technical training and know-how.

* Partners in Learning demonstrates how eZedia products, combined with other educational software and/or hardware products, make a complete curriculum solution that meets local, state, and national standards.

The term "community learning center" means: An entity that assists students in meeting State and local academic achievement standards in core academic subjects, such as reading and mathematics, by providing the students with opportunities for academic enrichment activities and a broad array of other activities during nonschool hours or periods when school is not in session that reinforce and complement the regular academic programs of the schools attended by the students served.
