eZedia Announces Instructor-Led Online Training Classes at NSBA's T+L2 Conference
ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA - October 22, 2003 - eZedia Inc., a leader in digital media software
technology, announced the launch of a series of live online training classes at NSBA's T+L2 Conference.
eZedia's online training classes are designed to give users valuable, effective, and
practical skills for using eZedia software. With the popularity of e-learning rapidly
growing worldwide, online training offers a convenient and effective learning opportunity
for today's busy users. According to International Data Corporation, an IT research company
based in Framingham, Mass., by the year 2004, the number of people taking computer-based
training will double from 1999's number, to an astonishing 4,000,000 people.
"The response to eZedia's Online Training has been tremendous, with classes filling up in
just hours," says Stefan Embleton, President and Founder, of eZedia Inc. "eZedia is currently
offering classes in eZediaMX and eZediaQTI basics; to more advanced classes focused on specific
education interests such as, Creating Student Portfolios. These classes are designed to help
educators integrate technology into their classrooms to see the benefits that multimedia can
have on student achievement."
"Our online classes offer the best of both worlds - the ability to take advantage of the latest
web technology and the ability to be trained by a live instructor," says John Lwiwski, Director
Training & Professional Development Programs, of eZedia Inc. "Using the Web to take training
has been a great benefit to students. It offers them the convenience of taking their training
anywhere where they have an Internet connection. This saves them both time and money, as they
don't need to travel across town or across the country to fulfill their training needs. As well,
we enhance the student's learning experience by teleconferencing with an instructor. We find
that there is still no substitute for a live instructor to satisfactorily answer a student's
urgent question."
eZedia online students have also raved about their instructor and training experience.
"Thanks, Murray, for the excellent job you did on the two sessions I took today and yesterday.
Your presentation was clear, well-thought out, well-paced, used good examples, and effectively
communicated and illustrated the ideas you wished to get across. I got some good ideas to use in
my teaching. Thanks for a super job."
- Glen Hammond
"The online workshop was great. I do a great deal of training on eZedia and it is always good to
hear how someone else approaches the topic. I look forward to some more workshops and especially
some advanced ones."
- Patsy Lanclos, Apple Distinguished Educator
