eZedia Inc. Appoints CEO
WINNIPEG, CANADA - September 8, 2003 - eZedia Inc., a leader in digital media software technology, announced the appointment of Trevor Coates as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Coates brings with him extensive experience in business development, corporate strategy and financial management.
Prior to joining eZedia, Mr. Coates was the Senior Vice President and co-founder of OpTx Corporation, the world leader in oncology-specific software and services. During his 10 years at OpTx, Mr. Coates was responsible for a variety of activities including defining the company vision, initial capitalization, corporate strategy, business development, management of the services group, and finance. Mr. Coates, a Chartered Accountant, has also held management positions with Price Waterhouse and Air Canada. It is with Mr. Coates's solid leadership and management experience that eZedia will continue its growth as a leading software provider.
