WINNIPEG, CANADA – June 17, 2002 – eZedia Inc., a leader in digital media software technology today announced the launch of Zoom-ed, eZedia's Education Program. Zoom-ed offers education pricing for eZediaMX multimedia authoring software and resources such as lesson plans, media content, training, contests and information on technology grants and funding for K-12 schools, Colleges and Universities. Educators can access multimedia resources and learn how to incorporate digital technology into instruction in a meaningful way via the Zoom-ed web site.

As part of the launch activities, eZedia also announced the Zoom-ed Classroom Contest, giving teachers an opportunity to win one of three Apple eMacs and eZediaMX software for their students. This contest is another way in which Zoom-ed provides inspiration for creative, interactive and collaborative teaching and learning.

"Today's educators require technology that will further their students' understanding of content and enhance their ability to communicate what they know and how they think." said Stefan Embleton, President and Chief Executive Officer of eZedia Inc. "Zoom-ed not only makes our eZediaMX software more economical and accessible, but also provides a wealth of resources, curriculum building content, and a venue for instructors to share, compare and inspire. eZediaMX supports students' ability to think critically, make and evaluate decisions, and solve problems. That is the ultimate goal in the development of independent learners and ensuring that no child is left behind."
